Sorry - but I get a weeks worth of listings with DVB EPG option.

Hi Siliconaudio

Same here -im getting the EPG fine now.

If you still are not getting the EPG data -can i suggest if your source is already set to to DVB EPG - that you remove the SBS Channels, which will remove them out of GBPVR totally.

Then when you add them back in - and the software asks if you want to scan for the EPG data say "yes". If the data is still not visible after that them im stumped.

The EPG data is there on the EIT tho - i can confirm that much.

Hey guys, I have added the entries for the SBS channels into the 1602.ini. Is that how you have done it or have you made a new ini file? I'm wondering if my DVB-S card is taking too long to switch from H to V polarity?

If not, I am totally stumped!

Yes, I just added it to 1602.ini:

[SATTYPE]
1=1602
2=Optus D1 (NZ FTA)
[DVB]
0=4
1=12483,H,22500,34
2=12456,H,22500,34
3=12637,V,5100,34
4=12646,V,12600,

If you run dvbtoxmltv from the command line, it'll list print the lines for all the channels as it scans, which will in turn tell you what you'd need to add to the dvbtoxmltv.xml file (including these SBS channels). I dont have time to try it right now, so cant tell you that exact line, but you should be able to spot it pretty easy.

Right, I am ready to admit defeat with getting the DVB EPG Sad

I removed SBS 3 & 4 from the second source I setup & created a new source with just SBS 3 & 4 in it telling it to use DVB EPG, I cleared all my logs & went into system & told it to update EPG & after it had finished reading the xmltv's it said it was scanning DVB but there are still no details in the TV guide for these channels. I have attached the logs in the hope you can see what's going wrong.

I can see its finding your listings, there is just a minor problem stopping them from appearing.

Its because youre ONID has scanned as "0":
Code:
T:12646,V,12600,~NID:0~ONID:0~TSID:896~P:899~V:161~A:81~L:eng~PMT:1032~TXT:41~PCR:161~N:>SBS 3

If you edited your tuning requests to set the ONID correctly, then you should get listings. Here are my tuning requests (note the ONID value).

Code:
T:12646,V,12600,~NID:12802~ONID:12802~TSID:896~P:897~V:161~A:81~L:eng~PMT:1025~LCN:3~TXT:41~PCR:161~N:>SBS ONE
T:12646,V,12600,~NID:12802~ONID:12802~TSID:896~P:898~V:162~A:83~L:eng~PMT:1026~LCN:32~TXT:42~PCR:162~N:>SBS TWO
