My original CD of WinXP laying somewhere full of dust, this WinXP release is simply so great, instalation takes under 10min on my HTPC (it have different installer), FrameWorks 3.5 + SATA drivers integrated, latest updates, etc...
If you got direct version from author torrent, it is 100% virus free.

Every "Dick, Joe and Harry" can fiddle with a Windows CD and call it a something-else-edition, but you can hardly call them an author just because of that.

I prefer to integrate drivers and updates myself by using nLite, then I KNOW what I get, and I KNOW it's both safe AND legal Smile.

And for the record, I was talking about trojan horses, NOT virus.

If you can, and if you have time for this, than congrats! But lot of people have no idea how to do it...
Trojans and viruses, same pain in ass. (BTW, AVG installed, didnt found anything).

I dint tell you to use it, it is just a tip... It is working great for me, so i recomended it, that is all Smile

BTW, this releases is made by someone known as "Mike_1984" and it have long history and lot of releases (once every ~3 mounths), so yes, i will mark him as author.

First: AVG isn't very clever of finding trojans, just viruses.
Second: The gbpvr forum isn't a place for recommending people to use illegal copies of windows.

There are sevral good anti-trojan programs, both free and at a fair cost. I have only tested a few but what I was most satisfied with was "Trojan hunter".
