why are some of my recordings failing

I think I've cracked it. I changed the BDA Multiplexer under the Misc 2 tab in Config from Microsoft DVR-MS to TS Mux, and recording now gives me a file I can do something with. At least, it has now for a couple of tries. I hope it continues :-).
