Wont play recordings

I could not get NPVR to work.
I didn't remove the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Setup
Will GB-PVR work with Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup
Can NPVR work with both? or does 2005 have to be removed?

You can have both versions of these installed at the same time. GBPVR uses the 2005 one. NPVR uses the 2008 one.

I can only guess its something about your AVG firewall or virus scanner? Its sounds like its got the incorrect version of some DLL it depends on.

I reinstalled NPVR There is something wrong with it. Perhaps I got the wrong version.
When I trry to start live tv it flashes please wait then quits.
Is there a working version I can download?

Did you right click and select Settings, then go to the Devices screen and configure you channels?

Its scanning but not finding channels. Some setting must be incorrect

In devices it shows 4 HDHOMERUN 2# atsc #qam I have a Dual tuner. Cant find channels though

I checked in c:temp /manual recordings.
The files are there but have 0 bytes.

Do a scan then post the npvr.log in the NPVR forum and I'll take a look.
