But in this case the placement of those stations should move on his dvb-s receiver too, or not? These parts works well for him, without altering anything. Same frequency, same transponder.

Ah, interesting to know. Thank you. Smile

Are you sure its on the same frequency, same transponder? Some set top boxes are pretty good at updating channel details without ever noticing (without needing to rescan etc).

He told me, yes. He has one dvb-s receiver for his television and another dvb-s solution for his main-pc (other software for viewing dvb-s). In both systems the tuning didn't altered, it's all the same as before.

Just on his npvr machine he has this problem since weekend, after applying the latest hotfixes.

I guess he'd have post a scan log showing the frequency in question, along with details of the channels that are missing, and we could start investigating from there.

Are any other channels from the same frequency still working?

The complete Frequency is missing, there is not channel working anymore.

What do you mean with "Scan Log"?
I am not able to scan because nPVR crashes every time far before reaching the frequency of the missing channels. After the crash, the database is still empty (in .29 nPVR saved the channels although it crashed). nPVR crashes at 12246/V/27500/0.

I also appended the crash dump.mdmp.

Best Regards

I cant find some of the symbol files I'd require to open that dump file. Do you have a msvcr90.i386.pdb on your machine?

To find out any more about the crash, I'd need to find version 9.00.30729.4926 of "msvcr90.pdb" or "msvcr90.i386.pdb". I've googled for it but been unable to find it.
