NRecord.exe is running, in Windows task manager processes. I'll try the update as soon as recording/viewing is done for the evening.
What, me worry?

I replaced NextPVR.exe with the one from the link, rebooted, tried it and it still crashed. After reboot the log picked up the A-110 (it had the A-100 in previous logs). Do you want more logs?

I recall a while ago, to solve another timing problem, there was a comskip setting to not mark first x seconds as commercial. Off the top of your head, as a workaround, is there a comskip setting to not mark last x seconds as commercial?
What, me worry?

No but thanks, I will set up a recording with comskip as my own test. Hopefully I can duplicate this now.

If all goes well I can make mvpmcx2 issue a stop rather than a skip for this last case.

Roy I cannot duplicate a crash so could you please not saving the file that is causing trouble. I will still provide an update that stops instead of skipping to see if that helps. I did regularly experience the an ongoing problem in NPVR where the screen does stay black for an extended period after ending the recordings, but eventually a screen refresh happens (or you can force one by editing a button on the remote).

You seem to be able to readily duplicate a problem that I cannot duplicate here. Can you make sure that you keep a file with comskip at the end to test a patch?

Ok roy, could you please try the attached with a troublesome file and see if it makes a difference. In comskip at the end of file NextPVR does send a seek higher than in Timing.Info which meant that mvpmcx2 was trying to use GBPVR logic to position the file. It wasn't causing me problems but I supposed depending on the file it could be.

mvpmcx2 will now just end a stop like EOF when asked to seek withing a second of the end. If you get a blank screen that's just because NextPVR isn't sending a screen, it was anywhere between immediate and 60 sixty seconds for me. You might speed it up by hitting a non-functioning key like yellow

One thing I saw with comskip was how nicely the timing.info was working for positioning. Comskip users have gotta love NPVR
