It didn't go to plan.

I've simply been too busy, and now I'm off to Australia with work for the next few weeks too. Tis a hard life Rolleyes

If anyone (with a non-PC) client device is still reading and could do some tests for me I'd really appreciate it.

It's taken me this long to get back to working on the Videos+ plugin, but I now have something that is starting to resemble a plugin (albeit far from really usable yet). One of the design goals is to allow browsing of directories with different views available on a per-directory basis. The user's choice of view per directory (and per client device) is stored in the database, but I have no way of testing this other than on PCs.

The views themselves are defined in the skin, with one file (view-<index>.xml) per view being available. Each file provides the details for how the UiList will appear for that view (where it is on screen and in which mode: Icon, List, etc).

If you do give it a try, all I'm looking for is confirmation that each directory can be assigned a different view (toggle them with CTRL+B or the menu) and that the views persist between sessions and are unique per device. When you've finished testing, you might want to drop the VIDEOSPLUS_VIEWS table from npvr.db3 too.

Thanks
