I gave it a try and it works good. I have only tried one web cam site so my experience is quite limited but I did notice a couple of things.

1. What does the mode option do?

2. I do get partial screen draws, meaning the top 1/4 of the web cam image appears and the rest is just gray. Hitting enter forces the refresh which has solved the problem when it arises.

3. The setup screen doesn't want to remember the refresh time you enter. (or if it does, it's not displayed). If you edit the camera name, etc. you have to enter the refresh time again otherwise you get a .net error.

I'll see if I can find some more web cam sites (I think the wife has a couple she likes)

Hope that helps.

FYI, I added a couple more sites but then later wanted to delete one. As long as I entered a time in the refresh area, I was able to delete the web cam. However, when I exit and restart npvr, the web cam returns as if I never deleted it.

Also, not that it a big deal but I'm using winxp and it puts the cache in user\public\npvr blab blah blah instead of documents & settings\All users\Application Data\npvr blah blah blah.

Is there anything built in to NPVR for this, like an event that gets fired when the settings are applied?

What do you mean by "sessions"? Is there anything built in to NPVR for this?

In the future it will toggle between live and archive mode.

Yes, a "RELOAD_SETTINGS" event is fired after the settings are saved in the settings screen.

Umm, been a while...I probably meant between different runs of NPVR. So it would be the same as the views in the libraries. Once you've picked, say, "covers" for them, they stay that way, rather than always reverting back to "list".

No, the args will just be null with this event.

I've updated attachments in the original post a new version of the WebCams plugin. Should be a fix for all the settings screen related issues.

Guys, please have a play with it when you can.
