Can you try deleting a channel and recreating it, and repost the logs if that channel has the problem? There is something slightly different about channels created in 2.2.x and above.

Hi sub, I did so and attached are the new logs. It seems to have fixed the problem. I got 4 good recordings in a row. Don't think I had gotten 3 in a row before. I'll rerun all of my channels and see if it continues to work. Appreciate it.

Well, on the 5th try I've got no sound again. Logs are attached.

Just for giggles I tried playing the file with Arcsoft TMT. It works fine.

Can you zip and attach your config.xml?

Please see attached sub. Thanks.
I should mention the last file doesn't work with Arcsoft Showbiz.

Sorry sub. The last video I had recorded does not have audio in NPVR. It works fine in TMT, but does not have audio in Showbiz.
I tried recording something else. It has the high pitched noise no matter what I use.

You'd need to remember to switch the SPDIF setting in config.xml.

Doesn't Arcsoft Showbiz use the same decoder's as Arcsoft TMT? They are the same name and say they are the same version. Also, per my last note, the resulting files don't always work in TMT. Actually, now that I've done more testing, it usually doesn't work in TMT either.
It wasn't any more reliable using the RCA inputs than the SPDIF input. |
