Thanks Martin Big Grin

but strangely enough for me I wasn't totally off topic Wink

Should the NextPVR wiki refer to TVGuide (as it does now) or EPG? Big Grin

But yeh bloody brilliant to go off topic and stay on it too :p

Trademark aside, it does say "TV Guide" on the main menu, so that should be the answer for you. I guess I think of the screen as the "TV guide" and the data in the database as the EPG data, since that is the way most XMLTV and Schedules direct talk about.

Excellent Martin, that was the answer I was looking for. TV Guide is what it says on the NextPVR menu. Actually EPG is what it is.

I would go for TVGuide (EPG) as the wiki ref.

cheers

I think just TV Guide since that is the plugin name. It might get confusing having to qualify "TV Guide (EPG)" and "TV Listings (EPG)"

Thanks Martin, still mulling on this, but suspect that you are right, and no-one reads the wiki any way, and if they do all they do is complain when they cannot find what they want, and if they find what they want, more often than not it is wrong Big Grin

I think you are right. And therefore we were right when we wrote it Wink

cheers

congrats steeb on the new arrival, and to Mrs. steeb as well. sorry to hear there were dramatic moments, I hope all's turned out well.

I don't quite get "ickle" though... I suppose it's a limey-ism, but I've not heard that one from my brother-in-law.

Thank you Mr Johnson, from another Mr Johnson Big Grin

'ickle' is some kind of limey talk, a take on 'little', there were moments, but it all happened so fast! Babs weighed in ' 2.7 Kilos (5.95 pounds )

If anyone would like to see a pic of ickle steeb I could post that in general discussion? Or is that weird (I'm just a proud daddy!)
