Well, I had problems getting npvr.db3 setup. I ended up having to use my copy from v1.5.36 with its config.xml in order to get SD to accept the UserID/password. I erased the EPG, reloaded the data and I cut down the size to 2 days and removed most recording information; that got npvr.db3 down to about 1Mb.

I still don't have a clear straightforward way to create a virgin npvr.db3 from SD. I wish there was a guide in the wiki. I was able to get SD to import the data into ExtendedEWA.db3 but it doesn't seem to update the npvr.db3. When I set it up originally, I converted from GBPVR which is probably why I never had that issue.

Anyway, here are the logs and npvr.db3.

Just added 3 channels to HDPVR definition and tried to update EPG. It updated but crashed when checking DVB/ATSC.
However, if I restart the Nrecord service, I can view the channels. So, it does look like I should be able to redefine all the channels that way.

Yukky process, but I guess it should work.

I dont really follow you, but if you reproduce it and post the logs, I'll take a look.
