Oh Boo-Hoo people.
My old version without patches of any sort is still working perfectly, as far as the recording service just suddenly stopping for no reason. It has been running that way for a few weeks. I can now shut the pc off for most of the day, then switch it on and it does its EPG update and just simply records what its set to record.
I presume because my pc is junk and I have no idea what im doing in suggesting that the problem lies in the patches on the old version and carried over to the latest version.
Mine works fine (still the slow interface is annoying).
Maybe some deity came down and 'blessed' my pc?
Something is wrong with the second patch to the last version of NPVR. That bug has been carried over with each update.
It if worked as it should, I wouldnt have an issue with 99.999% of recordings failed would I?
Without the patches, NPVR NEVER fails at all.
Oh and BTW at Red.... dream on if you think an ip can give you a street address. Just sayin'.
Isnt my fault that yall dislike hearing that your software has bugs.
Dont you think it would be nice if the bug were to be corrected?
Maybe you should just change the system requirements and drop XP support?
I have been reporting the logs as requested and getting no results. I am not going to sit here sending logs back and forth that basically, bottom line said it failed to keep running, or failed to auto restart the service while im losing every single file that I go to record.
