Are you guys wired, or wireless?

Logs from you other guys would help too.

I was on a wired gige connection, and my server was also. At the time when I was testing this I wrote it off to problems with Ceton and SageDCT. The biggest reason I started this process of finding a replacement is due to many problems with HALTED RECORDING errors on the Ceton Card, perhaps it has nothing to do with Sage.....

Unfortunately I dont know anything about Ceton and SageDCT, so it's not a great setup for me to start trouble shooting this problem on.

If others are getting this with the built in capture plugins, please post the logs and I'll help you work through it.

I'm pretty sure getting it working with the built in plugins will help resolve it on your Ceton setup aswell. Just gotta wait for some decent logs.

I will give it another go this weekend and provide logs.

Wired, worked fine before the upgrade, cant be a speed issue as i can watch already recorded stuff fine, i can also record a live show then watch it as its recording fine, there something funny about watching somethign thats not being recorded. Hauppauge HVR2250.

Client log here: http://www.ashleygriffin.ca/temp/npvr/NP...client.zip
Server log here http://www.ashleygriffin.ca/temp/npvr/NP...server.zip

I'll need the matching server log.

Logs on XP would be in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NPVR\Logs

I'm seeing the same thing, recordings are fine, live tv on the server is fine, but all clients are very slow to start, then run for a couple of seconds then drop back to the menu. 2.36 with all patches was fine, this is a new issue with 2.4.3.

Logs for client and server attached.

Clients are all wired on a Gbit network, but are Win7 HP Acer Revo's with ION2 CPU, so not the fastest thing in the world.

Server: Ci5 2500k, 3GB, Windows Server 2012, nPVR 3.5.7. 2xWinTV-DVB-T USB, 1xWinTV-DVB-T PCI, 2 x BlackGold DVB-T, 1xPCTV290E and 1xPCTV460E on Astra 28.2 E.
clients: RPI2, Acer R3700, PCH-A110, NUC, 3xSamsung Smart TV

Thanks for the logs. I think I'm going to see an additonal log aswell. Create a c:\temp directory, and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogSlipFile=1 (DWORD), then reproduce the problem and post the client npvr.log and c:\temp\reader.log, and server's nrecord.log.

Is this key on the client or the server?

My Client (Windows 7 Pro 64bit) doesnt have a key "NPVR" in "software", do you want this created?
I do have a "software\npvr" in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER though
Many Thanks

It should be in HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR in a 64 bit O/S.

Hi -- perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you are asking for, but that's exactly what's in the logs attached to my previous post.

Wired, gigabit.

Cheers,
