Cannot find BBC

Ahhh slight problem since using your new ini files. They pickup BBC channels fine but I seem to have lost all other digital channels (including ITV1, Channel 4, and Channel 5).
Tried scanning all regions but still only listing BBC channels. Any ideas? Thanks again in advance

Are you sure they are not in the channel list already - at the moment once they have been added they will not show in a scan again, the scan will only show new channels.
I believe Sub is changing this in the next release. better not thank my employer - they thought I was calculating other stuff for them.

They were showing from yesterday so I removed them and did a rescan. They are definately not in the list at the moment. I only had channels 1 - 5 listed and I am not getting any other digitals channel found in the scan other than anything BBC related.

Are you sure you are using the (Stage 1 040412) ini - if you were using the (Final 180412) that would only give you the BBC mux - and it would be in the dropdown list before the stage 1.

I did have both in there and was unaware it would take the info from the first one its finds that works in the list. I have now removed the final stage ini from the folder and am scanning from the 040412 ini file.
Still getting the same results though, BBC channels only.

In the Digital Recorder Settings make sure under Type Specific Settings:
Country = United Kingdom Region = Crystal Palace (Stage1-040412) Scan offsets is not ticked I have put the offsets in the ini files already.

Yep that is exactly how I have it. Could be related to me having Windows Server 2003. I will try a reinstall of npvr and see how it goes. Thanks for all your support so far

Just done a reinstall with the latest version of Npvr. I scan the normal existing crystal palace and I got no results back at all whereas the other day it mapped all channels except the BBC ones. Sounds like it is an issue with my server. Strange how it likes your ini file though and not the defaults. Will have to investigate more. Thanks again

Ah - it could be the DVB-Fix issue that bugs Windows XP - I believe some peoples have to scan without the fix then put it back to get reliable TV (From memory Ive been on Vista for the last 4 years)
