Right so I'm going to resurrect this thread... I reinstalled windows due to a failed HDD, clean install no multidecs no other servers and only the graphic drivers and tuner drivers installed. Still won't scan properly, does exactly the same stuff is it did earlier with the TBS6981s, yet FTR and MP work 'flawlessly' in comparison... I really don't know what is happening with it!

Also, can NPVR import XMLTV shedules automatically, i.e. if I set EPGCollector to pull down the Sky OpenTV scheudle every 3 hours, can I point the output to a NPVR directory? My eventual move will be to XBMC once Frodo is released and skins with PVR are released, and I'm eager to find a simple and easy to use tv server system that just works, decrpyts quickly and can multi-seat effectively and given you're recent thread on XBMC about demuxing, I'd love to give this all a proper go!

Can you post another set of logs showing the scan? I'll take another look.

By default NextPVR will read and process the XMLTV files once a day. The hour it happens is configurable in the Settings screen. The default is something like 2am.

Rightio, here are the logs. It is a scan of the NZ FTA DVB-S channels, no multidec enabled, just 2x6981 cards from TBS. I went in and even removed the V polarity channel from the FTA tuning settings so it simply contains the 2 Freeview muxes. Logs attached. Doesn't even pick up any channels that are on the freeview only muxes very very strange! have a look?

Many thanks,

It looks like it's failing to hook up correctly, so never tunes properly late. I'm not really sure why it's not connecting.

Maybe try running this version of filtercheck.exe, and post the filtercheck.log it creates.

here we are:

This is the log file zipped; didn't rename it so it looks like the zip file you uploaded but is just the log!

You definitely don't have any other software that could be using the tuner?

Can you also post a log showing a scan on the B tuner?

I do have now, but they're fully disabled in services, not even on manual! I've just done another scan on the FTA transponders and it picked up 3 Sky NZ HD streams and that was it! I'll do another scan from b.

Basically it's not hooking up, so it's never managed to start correctly. I'm surprised it returns anything, but looks like it's just returning the same data over and over for every frequency - presumably because it's not hooked up causing the tuning to not work correctly.

New logs attached after scanning from the second 6981 card. Same Freeview transponders only, however this time it pulled up four of Sky's HD channels. I clicked on them to add them so you'd see it in the logs.
