Did you build it yourself, or use the Ubuntu binaries I posted?

Nevermind, I see you mentioned RPi, so you obviously built it.

I'll be interested to hear how you get on.

Do either one of you have 'simple' build instructions? A simple search is turning up nothing good....

I actually compiled it on the RPi. With the one change to the code that I had mentioned in the other thread. After the initial load of the data it is quite responsive. I just hope to figure out why it crashed on RaspBMC because it seems more optimized for the RPi and has less issues. Maybee the crash was just it not being configured before activating LiveTV. I'll test this out.

I pretty much followed these instructions: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=How..._for_Linux

ie, from the glone git pvr-addons directory.

$ ./bootstrap
$ ./configure
$ make
$ sudo make install

that tinyxml line? Yeah, its odd. I think it should have been like the Windows include, but for some reason I needed to do that slight Linux change to get it to build on my Ubuntu VM. I'm not sure why. I'll probably just change it in the way you suggested.

That's sounding great.

How as video? Do you have the MPEG2 license installed and it's using hardware MPEG2, or is it decoding in software?

Okay, I will have a poke at it again after dinner.

I installed git, then was able to clone from your repository. But I was getting some error message when I tried to run the ./bootstrap command.

I Got both the Mpeg2 and VC-1 licenses. but The OpenELEC build I am using may or may not be using them as it is freezing the playback on and off. I have a better time under the RaspBMC build which is why I'd like to get it running there.

I don't really know much about those builds. Are these Frodo or Eden? I'm not sure the addon works with PVR builds of Eden. I've only tested it on Frodo.
