[HDPVR/Colossus] Channel Changing with NPVR Addon

I just noticed that the NRecord service kept dying starting last night around 9:00pm. The only way I could fix it was to rename npvr.db3 and let it be re-created. I would attach it, but apparently even compressed it is too large.

Do you have the nrecord.log?

Was that from before you deleted the npvr.db3? Unfortunately it doesn't show any sign of error.

Actually I didn't delete the .db3, I just renamed it. This log file was taken after renaming it back (with NRecord and NPVR both stopped) and attempting to re-start the service. One other thing that I keep forgetting because I'm not using XMLTV is that I have seen the attached error message a few times when trying to configure my devices. Perhaps it is related.

In any event, I can just remove that .db3 file and chalk it up to my killing the connection from XBMC forcefully one too many times. I'd really like to focus on the changing channels issue.

Thats saying the problem is actually in the xmltv file you're trying to feed to nextpvr. Specifically, it's unhappy with an invalid character on line 5488, column 18.

If you're not using xmltv, but are using schedules direct, it could be something invalid in schedulesdirect.xml

The thing is that I don't have an xmltv file that I'm providing it. I only use Schedules Direct so what xmltv file would it be looking at?

I found the problem with the xmltv file. Apparently I had pointed to the one I'm using for FTR at one point and it has some invalid characters in it. Where would the path to that file be saved so I can prevent it from looking there in the future?

EDIT: Never mind, I found it in config.xml. Now back to the subject of this thread.
