Just want to manually record Colossus capture while watching - how do I do it???

Dell Dimension 8400? That's pretty old. Single core Pentium 4, maybe with hyperthreading? Yes, theoretically it doesn't take much CPU power to just record the data stream coming in off the colossus, but if you're viewing the stream at the same time the CPU is probably maxed out and dropping some of the data. You really ought to find something a little newer; there must be plenty of used PC's around that you could get very cheaply.
