BDA and Server 2008 had problems, and 2012 is harder. Neither is officially supported by Microsoft. Here is one link I have bookmarked http://www.tenniswood.co.uk/technology/w...rver-2012/

I tried it with DVB-Viewer and it does´nt find any device either. Seems to be a driver problem with server 2012.
I opened a support case to update the driver to work with server 2012...

Thanks mvallevand for the hint... this worked for me. I am now one step further and scanning the channels. I am not shure which frequenzies are used in Austria cable, will investigate at the homepage of my cable carrier.
Thanks a lot, maybe this helps other people too.

What's the price of this device?

Thanks. That's not cheap compared to the dvb-t sticks from China, Singapore etc.

This device just phased out on our side, next revision will have additional T2 support on board. (DVB-C/T/T2/Analog/FM/Composite/S-Video). We'll still continue to support the old devices as well.
The main focus on those devices is Linux Support (x86/arm/mips/ppc/sh4), additionally streaming from Linux to Windows (where it shows up as virtual bda driver) is available. Available form factors are MiniPCIe and USB.

Unfortunately the channel scan did not find any channels. With DVB-Viewer I am able to find channels.
My cable provider uses the following frequencies: Transponder: QAM 256, Symbolrate 6.900

Please try with both drivers:
http://support.sundtek.com/index.php/topic,467.0.html

one has PBDA activated, the other one not.
