OK Tried that UncleJohnsBand.
Interesting...the command windows didn't pop up and there is not vlc in the process. Also tried starting the stream and then opening network stream in vlc. still no joy.
It's looking to me like the transcoding and stream are not starting at all. Processor stays at nominal and vlc reports it cannot open the mrl.
I've shut off the firewall for now, just to be sure.
On the upside, I discovered how to turn on transcoding for live tv, so my remote live tv experience should be good.![Smile Smile](https://forums.nextpvr.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
Best I can figure it out.....NEWA is not starting the stream at all. I not it's not a problem with the ffmpeg call because that works for the livetv now. Perhaps NEWA is not communicating with the recording service in order to begin the transcoded stream????????
Wish I knew more about how it works. I'll keep digging though. Any more ideas from your neck of the woods?
