it's good to have you back sub! I've been wondering if WKleeven's problem could be related to this in his Config: <EPGUpdateTime>none</EPGUpdateTime>

Also whether it might be better not to have UpdateEPG in Scripts if XMLTV isn't being used (although a copy could be kept e.g. in MC2XML for possible reinstatement).

In 2.5.9 I had updatehour set to 7. After updating to 2.6.2. in nextpvr, system, config, channels, the update time was 32 (not set by me!).
This morning (after the epg-update) I set it to 7:30 and now in config-file epgupdatetime is 30.
But I had this problem also with the previous release which didn't have the updatetime (only updatehour), so I don't think that's the problem.

I've never had updateupg in scripts, I had a task in windows scheduler for mc2xml which grabbed the xmltv data from internet after each reboot. Every time I don't reboot for a few days, I run out of epg-data after a few days.

I've got no new epg-data compared to yesterday (so still till sunday 2.00AM).
I added the logs from today, maybe you can already see if dvb-epg-data was grabbed (mc2xml is disabled).

It just sounds like you've got the auto EPG update disabled, so it's not updating the EPG each night. Set the time you want it to update on the Settings->Misc2 screen.

The auto epg update box is checked.
In 2.5.9 epg time was "7 hours", after updating to 2.6.2 it was automatically set to "7:32" (but to "none" in the config file).
This morning (after the update time) I set it to 7:30.

From the config-file in post #1: <EPGUpdateEnabled>true</EPGUpdateEnabled>
And I attached the printscreen (as you asked).

Tomorrow, after the update time, post the nrecord.log so I can see if it updated the EPG.

Yes that was it. I believe sub added <EPGUpdateTime> for 2.6.2 to reduce XMLTV server traffic at default update hours. (In particular, updates were failing for many North American users of SchedulesDirect due to heavy server traffic at 2AM Eastern time). When users went to Settings > Misc2 for the first time after updating, they would see a randomly-generated update time which was saved to Config when they clicked "OK." However you must be like me: I don't click "OK" unless I change a setting on purpose, otherwise click "Cancel" or "X." I went a few days with EPGUpdateTime>none, but not long enough to run out of EPG listings; so I wasn't sure that would prevent automatic updates until now.

Yes, I didn't click on OK so I had the "32" in the screen, but "none" in config-file. So you think the "none" in config was the reason for not updating? Could be, but why would I have had the same problem in 2.5.9 then (which didn't have the epgtime variable). Besides that, as long as I rebooted I did have epg-data.
I was surprised to see that I had new epg-data this morning, I'll be experimenting some more to see if I can pinpoint the problem more exactly.
