Hey Guys,

Thanks for all the help. Ok so just a little information on what i have installed. The only anti virus i use is MSE so there is no other firewall that i am aware of installed on the pc. I could be wrong. But i enabled the windows firewall as requested and added the exceptions. Still does not work. I have enclosed the zip file as requested. Not sure what else to do i went through the prerequisites and it seems that i have everything installed. I even attempted to reinstall them.

whurlston - yes i can see the channel changing on the hdhomerun homepage as i change the channel on the npvr program.

i still dont get recordings greater than 0 bytes

thank you

It looks like it's struggling to identify your machine's ip address.

What's the output of 'ipconfig /all' on your machine?

I don't think you have QAM configured correctly, I think it is supposed to be using the BDA driver.

It looks like it's something to do with that 'TAP-Win32 Adapter V9' network adapter that is confusing the app. I think this is part of the OpenVPN client.

If we were earlier in the release cycle I could give you a part to try fixing it, but unfortunately things have moved on, and my release is no longer compatible with 2.6.2. Instead, you might need to try disabling/uninstalling that device.

If you were just trying to use it for ClearQAM channels, then what Martin describes above would get it going via the BDA drivers. (since it doesn't need to lookup the ip address when using the BDA drivers for ATSC/QAM channels)

I am not sure what i should do? Is it reinstall npvr? oops i see disabling the network connection. Ok i am going to give that a try. I would like to not only get the clearqam since its pretty limited.

There is no way to hardcode my ip address onto npvr?

Thank you

The easiest fix is to uninstall the OpenVPN client you have installed on your machine.
