nah it wont work on samsung smartphones. it doesnt have any touch input support, so getting it to work on a smartphone it would have to be a an android app, which is possible but way to much work. I would just recommend using the nextpvr android app thats already out.

This is a fantastic leap forward Reven! It is exactly what I asked for ages ago (and got poo poo'ed I might add)...
I would replace my 5 TV's if I knew NextPVR was working as Plex on the Samsung TV's now is very good...a Plex APP and NextPVR APP for the Samsung TV's is such an excellent all round Wife Friendly solution! I will follow this thread in the hope that it goes stable/release...if I had a Samsung TV now I would happily Beta test, but I don't at the moment...if you think it will 100% go release (or even 95% sure it will) I'd be happy to go out and buy a Samsung TV today to he'p out with testing? What model should I buy?

Poo Poo'ing is much nicer than sh**ting ;-) I wasn't offended...just knew it was a great idea...also the Plex guys have come along way with the 2012 range of TV's (not sure about the 2013 range)...Plex is really quite good on these units now...

i was one who "poo poo'ed" on you
 the number of devices weren't as high back then, they were more expensive, and google tv was coming out. but google tv is taking forever to come out across the world.... but now its a different story. and i had no idea how easy it was to write a samsung tv app, thought it was going to be java or something with their own gui framework. html/js/css makes it so easy.
