I did make some changes, but I'm not convinced it fixed it. Can someone try again with this patch, and post the logs if it doesn't work?

That one looked close. It like it tried to do it.

Device was not in use.

One of the Freesat stations was still mapped to the XMLTV file but I was not recording or viewing any program.

I have now mapped all my Freesat channels using the Freesat setting

I have emptied the EPG yet again and updated but still no information showing on the Freesat channels.

As stated before the Freeview channels work fine.

Can I see another log to see if it looks the same?

Sub

Still not showing any program information after emptying the EPG and then updating again.

logs attached

I can confirm that all the Freesat channels are set to Freesat UK in the EPG setup screen and there are no XMLTV mappings.

Please note that when selecting a Freesat channel and pressing watch now , there is a time delay of about 10 seconds before the picture appears and I was wondering if the problem was now a timeout type issue ?.

Can you confirm the order of updating, when I have XMLTV entries the order is XMLTV update from Digiguide followed by Freeview scanning.

Should the Freesat process occur before or after Freeview ??.

Thanks

Maurice

I may be wrong (I don't have satelite at present) but according to those logs it is scanning 11428 Vertical - all the info I have seen says Freesat home is on 11428 Horizontal.
Also (You may know this Sub) they also use non standard PIDs for the SI tables.

On 11428H the BAT & SDT data is on PID 3002 - EIT data is on PID 3003

On most of the other freesat transponders the data is on PID 3841 & PID 3842

I hope this info is still up to date -the home transponder is meant to be moving frequency some time.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh
