you might be right here, that does appear to be what I get.
so have changed (after patching) to the Freesat UK epg grabber

I think it does explain whats happening.
I have turned off the live epg grabber, and it seams a lot happier
Although it was also doing it during normal scheduled epg updates.

However I have a half decent system now, SQLlite should not 'lockup' that badly.

I know its nice to have a message that says a problem happened, but if your not actually at the console of the machine you may not notice for a couple hours/days.
It then appears to nuke internal threads that don't auto restart.

An option for silently logging and restart somehow maybe?
