NEWA not working on Win 8.1

Thanks guys. mvallevand, I tried setting the properties for the recording service to run as a user that has an administrative account, but it did not help. If anyone has other suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Well, I never figured out what was wrong, but was able to fix it anyhow. I got to thinking that I tried reinstalling NEWA, but never tried reinstalling the whole nPVR. Given this is a base part of nPVR and it seemed so specific to my computer, I figured it was worth a try. After rebooting, I still could not get to NEWA, but the error changed from a .net error to a problem with the user\public\npvr\web folder, so I deleted that entire folder and reinstalled nPVR again. This time everything worked. I have no idea why the permissions were messed up the way they were, but this was an easy fix once I thought to try it. Thanks again to both of you for your help!
