I think there's still an issue with this, even after applying this patch.

When I do Bulk Map (on a fresh list ofchannels), and I select XMLTV, select my file, and map it to the proper channel, the rest of the channels do indeed automap (whereas they didn't prior to this patch).

However, the auto-mapped channel listings don't associate themselves with the correct .xml file.

I checked in the .db3 SQLite DB and noticed the tag for file was just <file></file>, when it should have been <file>R:\NextPVR\EPG\TVGUIDE.xml</file>.

As a workaround (for now), I manually ran the SQL: UPDATE "CHANNEL" SET epg_mapping = REPLACE(epg_mapping, '<file></file>', '<file>R:\NextPVR\EPG\TVGUIDE.xml</file>')

Just wanted to say that the patch posted to this thread was required to get things working for me too. Interestingly, like TheFritz, I am also using Comcast (Tualatin Valley) as a provider with my HDHomeRun Prime. Anyway, thanks for fixing this.

I also am seeing the same issue with my setup using HDhomerun Prime with Verizon FiOS as my provider. Any solutions short of tweaking SQL files all the time? Besides, I don't even know how to modify a .db3 file - is there a program to do this?

Same situation for me. I installed the patched components, which fixed the bulk mapping issue - however, the bulk mapping fails to associate each individual channel to the xmltv file. I'd have to go through the details of every channel and click the browse button to associate the xmltv file. Hundreds of clicks Sad

Unfortunately I'm not in a position to provide any more patches to 3.3.8. My build has moved on as I prepare for 3.4.x, and is no longer compatible with the build you're running, otherwise I'd be offering up patches for you to try.

I understand! However, if you would look into this issue on the next build, many of us would appreciate it. Thanks for all your good work!

BTW, I just started using NEXTPVR and am really impressed with it.

I'm not sure at this stage. Not in the next few weeks.
