PC goes into sleep whilst recording

It must be how sleep events are handled. NTray used to block my laptop client from sleeping from the button or lid, I rarely shut it down fully.

I know but now I just uninstall the task, my backend is only on a few hours a day and starts nicely with WOL.

MCE Standby Tool was always the best way of sorting out Windows Sleep problems.

It didn't seem to help when I started using X-NEWA XBMC/Kodi clients so I now use SmartPower which has a range of options to stop the server sleeping. In my case it prevents sleep if either client is on line.

Tried the stand alone exe but it made no differance. My Harmony touch still sends it to sleep. I might be able to modify the remote.

You need to get the remote to perform [rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState] rather than shutdown.exe

Haven't had this problem since going to Windows 8. But I had better test it, as I have just started using LM Remote once again.

I use a Harmony 650, so it may be different, but... I went into each of the activities and told them not to power off devices which weren't being used. That way it didn't try to power off/standby the PCH or the RPi which I switched to a different activity. I think that I also did something to get the All Power Off button to not try to power off those devices, too. But I don't recall exactly what I did. I added a TV Power Toggle soft button to the activities, so now I pretty much always just use that to turn the TV on/off rather than the All Power Off button.
