In theory either scan should work, and should give the same results. I just suggesting it might trying to somehow force it to use the Ceton scan results instead of my manual scan if there is channels missing. Theirs has likely been more thoroughly tested than mine.

The earlier log you supplied definitely got its scan results from the Ceton rather than doing a manual scan.

I'd try looking at http://10.0.0.16/view_channel_map.cgi?page=0, to verify you can see the page. If you can, then scanning in NextPVR should just reuse the results from the Ceton scan, rather than scanning itself. If you can see that page, maybe give the Ceton device a few minutes then try again. I'm not sure at what stage they do their scan, and if it's held in non-volatile memory, or whether its done each time the device is powered up.

Is there a way for me to force a manual scan?

You can't force it to do either. It prefers to reuse the Ceton scan results (from http://10.0.0.16/view_channel_map.cgi?page=0), because it's a lot quicker. If it can't get those, then it does the manual scan, where you see the tables and channels count up.

Every time I access that URL, either from a scan within NPVR or directly from my PC browser I always come up with the same 1024 channels.
Actually it reads 1024 of 1119, implying there are missing channels.
I just don't understand how I'll ever get my missing channels?

Can you post another npvr.log showing a new scan? I'm hoping to see it come from the Ceton page agin.

Where do you see that?

I deleted every device from the settings page, removed all channel table entries from the DB, and did the scan over again.
Still got the same 1024 channels; log is attached.

If you just point your browser to the URL you should see the "1024 of 1119", about the 4th line down.

Can you post a screenshot? I don't have a Ceton here.

I just looked at the URL again.
It appears as though my scan stops at page 20, and the last 3 pages are missing.
I took a look at those pages and they contain my missing channels.

I assumed you could see the URL directly from your browser.
I didn't realize you needed a Ceton for that.

I was under the assumption that this page=0 would return all channel listings. It sounds like that is not true, and it'll only contain the first 1024 channels.

I can fix it, but I'll probably need remote access to a machine with Ceton device for an hour or so, so I can make these changes.
