Unable to communicate with recording service

I hope I can jump on this thread to get some help myself. I am having the exact problems that is described in this thread. I am a new user and am getting nothing but a blank screen in live tv. No sound, no picture. I was getting the error message "Unable to communicate with recording service". So, I started the services and that problem went away.

Nextpvr is on a Windows 10 PC. I am using a KWorld Hybrid TV Tuner UB445-U2. I have scanned 11 channels via ATSC Conexant Polaris BDA Tuner.

My Settings are attached and shown below:

Video Renderer: EVR
Audio Renderer: Default
Music Renderer: Default
MPEG2 Video: Arcsoft MPEG Video Decoder
H.264 Video: Arcsoft Video Decoder
HEVC Video: Disabled
MPEG1 Audio: LAV Audio Decoder
AC3 Audio: Disabled
E-AC Audio: Disabled
AAC Audio: Disabled
HE-AAC Audio: LAV Audio Decoder

I have also attached my zipped log files.

Any help is appreciated. I am at a loss. Everything seems to be set up correctly, but no picture, no sound. I have also tried other codecs but the result is always the same.

If you try recording, does a file get created on the disk, and can you play that file in another player?

I can only Manual Record. But, yes, I can record the file and then play it (in VLC Media Player).

If you try watching live tv, does the .ts file get created in your live tv buffer directory, and is it playable in VLC? If so, its sounding like you problem is the decoders you're trying to use. ie, probably the 'ArcSoft MPEG Video Decoder', which isn't a decoder I've come across before.

thanks for the reply. Where would I find the directory that contains the live tv buffer? After I figure that out, I can answer your first question.

ArcSoft MPEG Video Decoder came with my KWorld Hybrid TV Tuner UB445-U2. For the MPEG2 Video I also have (and have tried) ffdshow, LAV, and Cyberlink. For the H2.64, I have tried Microsoft DTV-DVD, LAV, and ffdshow. But, still no picture.
