yes, I saw that, but there's nothing else in the log saying you deleted the recording. when a client deletes a recording, the request is sent to the server and NRecord handles the deletion. In your case, none of that happens, so I can't give you any indication what went wrong.... nothing happened, so nothing went wrong.

were you using the TV Listings Recordings screen to do this deletion?
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct

Well something happens, as the recordings was deleted from the db3 file.

No I was not using TV Listings Recordings
Handy.Man Wrote:On the client, I go to Recordings, Ready,
select Ruptures, select S01E04, delete it, it disappear from the GUI, however it is still present on the Server folder.

It is not the first time Recordings, Ready (when there is multiple recordings for a show) doesn't complete delete.

This time I went to Recordings, Ready, Selected Le Téléjournal Grand Montréal 18h, delete.
I got a message saying unable to find part of the access path
[Image: Pw9ZFnF.jpg]

Went back again and got the same message.

If I go to Recordings, What's New, Select Le Telejournal Grand Montréal 18h, select delete, I am prompted if I want to delete the recording and it does remove it from the server

Yes I can program/modify recordings from the client, event do an EPG update from the client.
I can delete recording from the Recordings/What's New as well as with the TV Recordings plugin.

The problem seems to happen when I go to Recordings/Ready.

Is it every time you try to delete a recording from the client?

Just tried with another ready recording, same popup.
Go to the Server, do the same thing on the same recording, it does delete it.

From the lack of logging on the Server, could it be that he request is sent to the "local" NRecord service ?
Or act as if the file was local ?

Normally you'd get a message starting with "DeleteRecording" in the servers's nrecord.log when you try to attempt to delete a recording.

To make sure I'm looking at the correct bit of the logs, and cut out the noise of other stuff you've been doing, can you stop NextPVR on both the client and the server, then delete the logs on both, then start them back up, do the delete from the client, then post the client and server logs again? ie, these logs should only show your attempted delete.

Not tonight for sure, I am recording till 3am Rolleyes

The last logs I posted:
(Client NPVR.log.1)
I stop watching a recording recording (pretty sure it was Global National), I then went to Recording/Ready, try do delete, it failed, Exit NextPVR

(Client NPVR.log)
Started NextPVR, Recording/Ready tried again, failed, took a screen shot (as the message disappears in a few seconds) go to Recordings/What's new, delete it, file was deleted on the Server
