EPG works on one WIN10 machine but not the other

The difference with the profiles is that SiliconDust are trying to be smart with the WMC and NextPVR profiles, by stripping out streams that they don't think the user needs. It's possible the stripping out PIDs used by the broadcast EPG, so this info never makes it to NextPVR.

If the NextPVR profile is working fine for you, it does give much lower network utilization, which can be particularly useful on wifi etc.

I messed with the profile and now both computers are only doing partial EPG updates. A few hours instead of days. I'll keep at it.

A few hours is all that most channels transmit in the US over the air - cable companies usually transmit nothing.

Very confused. Changed profile to Media portal. The server is now getting 3 days of EPG. The test computer is now the one not updating correctly. Since the computer that I need to work is now working I'm going to quit messing with it and see how it goes. Hopefully the auto update works and I'm good to go. Sorry for wasting your time.
