Thanks for answering, yes I tried "EPGScanSeconds, and turning off 'update epg during live tv'". But no luck.

Is it realy complicated this with TSCapture ? Will it take much time ?

No and No ... TScapture is written by Sub ... the author of NextPVR and is similar to use ... http://www.tscapture.com/ ... The file created by TScapture will be quite large and you will need to upload it to somewhere ... I use the free service at https://www.wetransfer.com/

OK, I'll have a try as soon as I can... Smile So just run that tool ? Upload the big file and that's all ?

sub Wrote:...I'd need a copy of your npvr.db3, and I'd need you to use TSCapture (eval version) to capture a 1 minute full transport stream from each frequencies you have channels on, so I can try replicating it here.

NextPVR stores information about devices, channels and recordings (and other stuff) in the npvr.db3 database. The database is at c:\User\Public\NPVR ... you may be able to compress and attach the database to a post ... You can upload the database with the tscapture file if the compressed npvr.db3 is too big to attach to a post

Was there ever a resolution for this problem? I am having much the same symptoms, and if the guide is not working then the schedules recordings also do not work.
I am in Brisbane Australia, so I guess our system is a little different..
Running nextPVR 3.9.2.1 on Windows 10.
I also looked into schedules direct to try any side step the problem. Their website says that is supports Australia, but the setup in nextPVR does not show the selection for Oceania in the Lineups list. So I can't get around it that way either.

Wanted to add infos here too.. Made the update to the last NextPVR version. Scanned the EPG on the morning, all channels are there. Going back on it in the afternoon, back to the 3 channels with EPG situation !

Still couldn't do the tscapture thing... But it just must be a bug ! Cannot be something else ! What can cause the EPG to be deleted just a few hours after having been manually updated ?

Hi
Apologies for jumping in here but this thread sounds similar to my problem too. I can go to settings and update EPG and get a good list but after a week or so nothing much left in the guide, I think its failing on the overnight update and never updating util I next do the manual update epg.
I had a quick look in the logs and found this - seems not happy and throwing an exception. Looks like it happens every night but different channels.
Any ideas?

Just spotted this bit: c:\devxxxxxx\null.ts
Is it writing to c: drive? I don't want that it's an SSD can it do that where my recordings are?

I'm pretty sure that directory doesn't exist on your machine, so it's not actually creating file. It's a debug file I use on my machine, where that directory exists.

That being said NextPVR doesn't have any control where Windows puts swap files, memory mapped files etc and those could easily be on your system drive if you have it defined as C:\
