Same problem here.
Within the past week, SchedulesDirect stopped working on my NPVR machine. It is also dedicated (VLC is the only other thing it runs) and is also WinXP. I was running 3.7.7 when I noticed the empty schedule, so I updated to 3.8.3 and the problem didn't change, which shows it isn't the new version of NPVR. I've certainly had my share of troubles with SchedulesDirect. Is there a good alternative?

Same here. Last day of scheduled recordings, TV Guide empty after tomorrow night11/9/2016. I had upgraded a week or two ago. Tried upgrading again today. No joy. Have HDHomeRun3 to WinXP Pro x64 and nPVR. Have setups for 3.2.9, 3.6.6 and 3.8.3. The 3.6.6 was installed 6/14/2016 and was working okay. I re-downloaded the 3.8.3 so can't tell from the date modified as to when it was first installed. Thought the problem might be with schedulesdirect and was told to check here.

Schedules Direct recently switched to a new Amazon load balancer, which handles the https, and it looks like the new one isn't offering any ciphers that are compatible with what WinXP .NET has available.

How kind of them. Will there be a solution or will we finally have to abandon XP to use SD? Could I try something weird like using the EPG download from my Win7 machine transplanted into my XP machine?

I wonder if it is SHA-256 does this open in IE https://sha2test.force.com/s/ for XP users? If not maybe this hotfix helps https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/kb/968730
Not sure if running obsolete computers on the Internet with weak security is an SD problem. Martin
I went to Settings>Channels and deleted them all because I saw I was getting duplicate channels on all and none could connect with SchedulesDirect. Then I went to Devices and scanned the first of my three hdhr3 tuners and exported the data. Then imported the data to the other two channels. Went back to Settings>Channels and tried to map the first channel but when I got to lineup it told me it couldn't communicate with Schedules Direct. As I recall, at this point I should get a signin box of some kind and input a password. When I try to fill in a channel details, e.g. 729 for Sci_Fi_Hd, I put 729 in the box between the first 729 and the Sci_Fi_Hd but then when I put Schedules Direct as Source and punch the Lineup button, not only do I get an Unable to communicate message but the 729 I entered goes to 99. When I punch out the OKs and get back to the channels list, it is then listed as 729.99.
I have found my schedulesdirect lineup on the website as before. I logged in and went to the edit lineup which I hadn't seen before. Could be that I re-entered my user name and password this time. So, the information is there. The problem, again, seems to be, now that I have a single listing for each channel on Settings>Channels, is that nPVR should connect to SchedulesDirect and bring up a login and password dialog but doesn't. Firewall is off.

If not maybe this hotfix helps https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/kb/968730It would definitely be worth an XP user trying this to see if it helps. If not, after talking to Schedules Direct, it sounds like might be the end of the road for direct support of Schedules Direct for XP users If we can't find a Microsoft hotfix or registry setting that enables ciphers compatible with Schedules Direct, your options would be - upgrade to a new version of Windows, or switch to a different XMLTV based EPG source.

Need other XP users to try it to verify. What about my idea of getting EPG on a Win7 machine and transplanting it into the XP machine? How would one go about that?
