I signed up for a one month vaders account a couple of days ago, but still waiting for them to send me the details.

Ideally there would be a simpler way but at least the solution by martint123 works. Thanks to you and to all.

edit to add that the link is truncated, where the ... is after& should be password=xxxxx

Yes, my username and password were there where the xxx's are. I could watch it fine, but wanted to do a re-import to find any new channels or renames they may have made. This is when I came across the error. Simply copying back the database got me restored and then I experimented further. SO it worked fine, but I couldn't do an import.

I noticed that sub had made a patch previously (see https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...ight=vader) but that still did not work.

Be carefull applying patches. Sub released a new version of NextPVR since that patch and it is now part of the baseline so you would be running an outdated version.

Martint123, I was getting the same prob with the 403 error, I would submit it enough times that I got banned from the server for an hour, at which point you will get a 429 error for hammering the server. I even bought a area51 account so I could verify there was nothing wrong on my end, it worked fine. I then did as you suggested in firefox, but it saves the file without and extension, adding a .m3u extension to the file fixed that. How did you handle the epg info? Thank you for the tip!

So they eventually sent me my credentials. Not sure if they stuffed up, but I get this 403 error trying to access the http://vaders.tv/vget?username... url from Chrome. I was just trying to double check I could download the m3u outside of NextPVR, but haven't managed to yet.

Are you guys able to successfully download the list in a browser?

At this stage I'm not convinced their m3u url is working...

If I use the following I get the offer to save
Code:
http://vaders.tv/vget?username=name&password=pass&format=ts

SO this is a download box rather than filling the browser with text.

Does the url work in NextPVR for you try to import?

My 403 may just be something they misconfigured when setting up my account. (which I haven't yet tried in NextPVR because it's not working elsewhere)

NO that is where the problem is. I get the 403 error box when starting the import.
I get round it by using the URL in a browser, downloading the file offered - vget.m3u and then using a file-type URL to import that vget.m3u file e.g. r:\vget.m3u (my ramdisk) along with teh epg usr and it works ok with the import
