Fresh Kodi installation crashes when NextPVR plugin tries access the NPVR server

My logs are already with PVR component logging enabled.

As I write in my first post, on the same HTPC, Kodi 17.6 works fine.

I try to install Kodi 18.1 on an other PC (Win10) on my network...

All work on an other PC (Windows 10/64bit): NextPVR plugin, no crash, your zip file...

So it's a problème on my HTPC installation. I also tried to reinstall Kodi 18.1.
What is strange is that Kodi 17.6 works fine on this HTPC.

Maybe a problem with Kodi 18.1 x86 install...

Sorry I didn't notice you were running both 32 bit and 64 bit Jenkins the Kodi build machine doesn't build 32 bit for the test builds but let me know if you want to try and I can build it
here.

Edit I think this one on Jenkins is the 32 bit version https://jenkins.kodi.tv/job/kodi-pvr/job...3.3.14.zip

Hi there,
I got the same problem.

Here is the setup: Intel Nuc, (Windows 10 French) Nextpvr server 4.2.4, Kodi 18.1 updated from 17.6 (French), Nextpvr addon 3.3.14 . This setup crash Kodi, almost all the times but sometimes it run through. I got the sames results with a fresh Kodi 18.1 installed on another Windows 10 computer. BTW Kodi 17.6 is rock solid in this environnment.

Are you saying you are crashing with 3.3.14 posted earlier in this thread? In any case could you please upload your debug Kodi.log showing the crash. I don't think it is a French problem since I have been running Kodi in French dupuis hier.

I got 3.3.14 from the net last week, so I dowloaded the one on this thread and finding that they are not the same size, I re-installed this one my 2 PCs

Bingo no more crash!
