1. The error appears to be in NRecord

This is normal. It's just saying it couldn't find artwork for that particular show on the https://fanart.tv service.

2. For the remapping, my goal was always to change the channel numbers and remove the SD channels if there is and HD alternative. Is this no longer possible?

Yeah sure, of course you can delete whatever channels you don't want, and give them whatever numbers you want. When you view the properties of the HD channel, it'll still say it's mapped to the SD channel in the Schedules Direct channel lineup - don't worry, everything is fine, you'll still have the correct listings.
