NextPVR, Hauppauge Colossus and issues changing between PCM and AC3 audio streams

Update:

With the Legacy NPVR and MS Demux option enabled.... channel changes between channels with PCM audio and Dolby Digital audio seem much better.
When I say much better, I mean perfect channel changes thus far, and no loss of audio across channel changes between STB channels and DVB-T channels of differing audio streams.

Regarding the playback of recordings previously made with the legacy NPVR option disabled.
Will new recordings scrub properly?, or is it just a limitation of that legacy Reader?
ie. LiveTV is pretty good now, but playback of media is not so **** hot.

I tried my NVidia Shield client running Kodi and Nextpvr pvr addon.
Navigating thru the recordings works perfect.

So, on the local Nextpvr client running on local PC, with Legacy NPVR reader option enabled, can file navigation be remedied, to be like legacy option disabled?

The demux option makes no difference to how recordings are made - they're the same regardless. This option only affects playback.

I see... What I was meaning, was with the Lecacy NPVR option and MS Demux active, is their a way to improve playback of recordings?, or is it a limitation.
ie. When I try to skip forward or backwards thru a recording, it is really awful and slow.
But if I disable the legacy NPVR option, navigating thru a recording is smooth and fast..

(grin) Enabling Lecacy option fixes channel changing and audio loss issue for me, but really makes navigating recordings a non-enjoyable experience.
