Quick fix...
Run regedit
Goto:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData
FROM THERE (otherwise you'll find loads of other stuff first) hit Ctrl-F and search for 'GB-PVR' (without quotes).
It should find something in an 'InstallProperties' directory. Rename that something else, like 'InstallProperties111'. Run the install file for the new version! Enjoy!
This worked for me, edit the registry at your own risk!

Should be:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData

Ok, that doesn't work! Seems posting doesn't like registry keys! Still puts a space in! I'm sure no one was actually going to find it a problem anyway, I'm just a bit of a perfectionist. Maybe it's some kind of hacker protection thing.... Ignore it anyway. Is there anyway to edit current posts?! I feel as though I've just bombarded the board for a pathetic cause!

Sorry upgrading folks, this was a minor mistake on my part. Each time I package up a new release I need to tell the packaging software what prior versions can be upgraded, but in this case I forgot to add v0.91.11.

I've updated the package, and its now available for download from http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR09112b.msi

I've also updated the link in the original post.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

If you're upgrading from 11, then use 12b. Otherwise it doesn't matter.

Yep, thats right. Its the exact same versions of all the files. The only difference was the 12b package had the ability to be installed over v0.91.11. The 12 package would complain that it was already installed...

Don't know what you did with this version Sub, but the problem I've always had with stuttering sound through my Nova-T card in live tv has been completely cured. I bought this about 2 months ago and almost gave up on it. WinTv is crap and Showshifter is... well Showshifter. Despite a lot of help and efforts through many good people who use this forum, I could never get my card to work with GBPVR.

As always, I installed a complete fresh installation when the latest version came out. I Don't know what you did this time, but I works great. Thanks a lot Sub.

Sub,

What did you do in 12b to the TV Guide? Maybe it's my imagination but the guide is really snappy now! I was also getting a "connecting to server" message on my MVP's when first trying to access it but that's gone as well. Thanks!

Thanks Sub - I can confirm that the sound problems I was having in LiveTV on the PC are sorted. I noticed when running an upgade that inorder to install v0.91.12 completely it is necesary to finish with a reboot where a secondary install process runs after the restart.

That 2nd step after restart and threw me. I did the original instal, but it wouldn't TV, so I restarted. I saw that 2nd step and stopped it. It caused problems, so I did a repair. After that, it would start adding recordings 2x, and that was giving me errors.

I put my 0911 install back, and then reupgraded. Been fine since.
