How can I found out if the names are correct?

Still no success in scanning the channels.
Have searched for more information regarding the error 20:25:32.008 VERBOSE ConnectPins: 'MPEG2 Transport' to 'MPEG-2 Stream' 20:25:32.008 VERBOSE ConnectPins failed! But I actually don't understand. If someone could point me in the righ direction. What to look for and what tests to do I would really appreciate it. Thanks Oscar

There seems to be something about the recent 91.xx builds that results in the Nova-T not scanning correctly. See my earlier report...
http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...stcount=10 FYI get hold of 90.10 - its the only version I've found that will correctly scan. Must be something pretty straightforward - I hope sub can find time to investigate there seems to be a lot of Nova-t (909 and 9002) owners with this issue.

drplix, thanks for your suggestion.
But... it did'nt work. The behaviour is although a little bit different. In 90.10 it stops directly after starting the scan. In 91.12 it goes through the scan. However I believe the reason is the same, the ConnectPins error that i can see in the logfiles in both cases.

Just wanted to post the solution case anyone else have this problem.
Sub was right, of course! I found out using graphedit that in my system "MPEG2 Transport" was named "MPEG2-transport" changing the BDA.ini solved the problem. Tnanks for all your help and suggestions Oscar

Hi Guys,
thanx to what you have found I was able to solve my channel tuning problem with Nova-t 90002 as well. I needed to change the entry in BDA.ini to "MPEG2-Transport" with a capital T in order to work. After that I found all channels. So thank you again and greetings Jui

Jui, what version of the Nova-t drivers are you using? I'd like to know whether Capital 'T' is an old driver or new driver thing.

Sub,
I was hoping that OscarL 's solution would work for me so I just tried out 91.12b. I get the following NullPointer Exception when trying to live preview a channel... PHP Code: 14/05/2005 14:15:38.652 VERBOSE [2] PreviewLiveTV() done My config is: Nova-T 909 Latest Technotrends BDA Drivers (01.12.2004) Windows 2000 SP 4 I used graphedit to find filters - I can't find "MPEG2 Transport" with or without capital!! However as I said, my setup works fine with 90.10 where BDA.ini has "MPEG2 Transport" Hope this helps.

Hi Sub,
sorry for the late reply. I was on vacation. I used the Hauppauge Software and driver version 1.3 and updated today to 2.0. The capital T thing is working in both of them. Greetings Jui
