Hi, no i mean something different, and i will explain a little bit, i hope my english is good enough.....
I am using a decicated PC as a Mediacenter PC. I do this for an extremly long time, comming from Mediacenter Windows XP. And now using KODI first with TV_Mosic as backend, and now i moved to NPVR.
To control everything i am using a Harmony Remote Control.
Windows Mediacenter and also TV-Mosaic did not allow to send the PC into Standby while a recording was running. With NPVR, if i hit the power button on my remote accidently for example, hte PC goes into standby, and the recording is damaged.
Other softwares did not allow that, and it would be nice to see an option that NPVR also does not allow standby while a recording is running. Especially with a remote control you can accidently hit the button, or in case of a harmony remote, you program tasks, that wake the devices for an action. But if you send a "power" key to mediacenter pc, is just damages the running recordings.
I hope i could explain that you understand what i mean. It must be possible, because other softwares do it.
