I had though that device would be one of the likely candidates, and I'm fairly sure it does have BDA drivers.
My qualifying comment would have to be, I havnt personally tried it, or researched it, so I'm not sure if there are known problems that exist with the drivers or hardware for this device. They all have their own "quirks".

Or this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...eName=WDVW (out of production now, Telemann HiPix DTV-200) Still need to know if the ATI HDTV wonder qualifies. I can't find ANY info on the type of drivers any of these things use/need.

To be quite honest, I dont know. I think the ATI HDTV Wonder has BDA drivers.

Sub,
I would also like to help. But I have been holding off buying a HD card until we figured out which one would be the best for GB-PVR. I did some research a few months ago and at that time I don't think the ATI HD Wonder had BDA drivers available. I could be wrong, so we probably need to contact ATI and double check. I do have VS.net installed. One suggestion, if the US based users who are interested in HD, decide which tuner to try, we could all get that tuner. I do have an email saying that the Fusion tuner did have BDA drivers. Sub, do you have a relationship with the Fusion support people? If so, that might be the best one to start with, assuming the ATI tuner doesn't have BDA drivers. Bryan

Cheers Bryan.
After a short period of research, both the FusionHDTV and ATI HDTV Wonder appear to be contenderd, and both have BDA drivers. Quote:One suggestion, if the US based users who are interested in HD, decide which tuner to try, we could all get that tuner.I'd probably recommend most users dont get anything just yet. There is always the chance that we will find the device cannot work with GB-PVR, so I'd rather not have the pressure of heaps of users buying a specific device on my premature recommendation.

I agree about going out and buying one card and expecting you to support it.
So it seems to me that the first question we need to answer is, "Does anyone already own a Fusion or ATI HD card and is willing to help"?

After checking around my vote goes to the ATI card if we need to purchase. It also states on their site that we need to purchase by 7/1/2005 to get a card that's not brain damaged.
