Should merged items be the same priority or not or does that matter?

The priority is about the order it looks for an available tuner that has a requested channel. (having merged channels means it's likely find 2 or more tuners with the requested channel)

I can fix the problem with sqlite temporarily it's just I'd like to know what to do with the merged channels, keep them the same or assign a new priority.

You only need up update the priority numbers on the CAPTURE_SOURCE table. You don't need to worry about the channels at all.

The problem is because of the duplicated priority number in that table. I don't know if that is the bug, or if the bug is the that the web page doens't now how to scroll when there are duplicates because merged channels share a priority.

I think your right, I have lots of test Extras and tuner and it seems I can't sort the bottom either.  There might be another issue with the size because I have several non merged devices that share priority 38 that sub will need to look at.

I believe I recall a fairly recent post (in the last couple of weeks) where sub knew about a problem with some devices getting the same priority and then not being able to change the order of those devices.

I've never been able to reproduce the issue here. Same issue existed in v4. I don't think it's a common issue, just some combination of changing priorities, and adding devices, can cause it to get confused and end up with multiple devices on the same priority. When it's in this state, trying to change the priority can get weird too.

I've made a change for the next build which will hopefully help. (as mentioned, can't reproduce it, so not 100% sure)

All I can give you is a "maybe" on that one. It makes the Extras recorder quite a bit more complicated around some behaviour. I'm not against doing the work to make it happen though.

I'm presuming that you haven't done anything more with this, sub. So I'll use the work-around to get a couple of locast extras.
