AppleTV, navigate in recordings

I know what you mean, but unfortunately it doesn't come through as button presses to the application like it does with the silver remote. With the black remote application needs to be looking for press events on the touch pad, and deciding what to do based on where the user is touching the touchpad...painful.

What about the IR remote, can you get those key events? I only have the original black and it is so bad I rarely turn on my Apple TV and I could buy two Android boxes for the price of the 2021 remote

The changes I’ve made should work with other remotes too. I’ll check that a little later

Ah yes, well, that's unfortunate.

Well, I guess moving forward at this point the older black remote is discontinued, so I believe adding this support-- even if only for the silver remote-- would be well worth it.

I'll try to improve support for the black remote too, but it is difficult to work with.

Just as dongna I have 2 AppleTV's, one came with the black remote and one with the newer silver remote. However I replaced the old to the silver "Apple TV Remote (2nd generation)" for obvious reasons. I'm really looking forward to the app update supporting click jump, and hopefully also click & hold for FF/FR.

Sub, when do we have the app update? Any changes to the remote behaviour will make the app better and is very much wanted.
