I just tested it again on Windows 10 and the first 3 times it worked, the 4th time it started a new instance. I'll be out the rest of the day, but can do more testing later.

Hmm, that's really odd. The Release build is allowing multiple to start, and Debug build isn't. (and I've just rebuilt them both, so they should be behaving the same)

Ok, I think I've got to the bottom of it. A mutex I was using was being garbage collected earlier with a Release build.
I've updated client.zip again.
