unable to update TV guide

do I need to select schedules direct for each channel or will it map by it self? I selected the auto map feature but it has not changed the channel source

When you did automap, did you select your channel type and your SD lineup? Assuming you’ve selected the correct lineup (ie channel numbers matching your local broadcasts) then it should change the epg source for all the channels to schedules direct automatically

You should add the correct channel lineup for your local zip code.
