If someone could add a place to enter the ip as that is what got Ripper and Tools working.

That is the same response I get when TabloTV is not on the internet and I am trying to figure out where to insert a manual configuration. I don't use Ripper or Tools as the addon plays LiveTV not recordings I need access to all the tuners.

Does http://192.168.1.41/server/info give you some useful information? If so I have a manual mode you can try if you'd like.

Hi, that gave me "bad gateway".

I can try anything you need to get it working, just I will be on the Tablo forum more than here if I dont respond here and you need me to test something.

This might not help, but if you used Tablo Ripper.  The default way "select tablo" does not work, you have to manually add the ip to the second spot then it will work normally.

Seems simple but not sure about programming wise.  Tablo Tools was the same, found nothing until I manually added the Tablo ip under the test device setting.  Maybe this needed to be done in the NextPVR software????

Ok, I gave you the wrong URL if that is the correct IP it might work with http://192.168.1.41:8885/server/info

The other URL should have given a 404 though so your VPN might be the issue if that is the IP you give TabloRipper.

I added a third mode that does UDP discovery too, which might also work that might work if that URL fails

We did not notice, but there is an extra number in that link. When I took it out, I got this:

I had to do a reset at home just now, the ip is 192.168.1.3 now.

Perfect so this should work, but I did needed to tweak UDP to get the number of tuners, the 4 port model name for DVR ended in iv yours ends with 4.

Try to the attached (remember to delete the JSON files).  There are 3 modes now

1. Web assisted

TabloTV install

2. UDP Discovery.  This needs UDP port 8881 outbound and 8882 inbound so you might be prompted by your firewall

TabloTV install scan

3. Manually install one or more

TabloTV install IP IP ...
