Until you have that working on Linux NextPVR won't work.  Not sure what to say since it is locking.  Which Ubuntu version are you running?

Ubuntu 22.04.3 I think. 

I was able to get the device to work inside a windows vm using NextPVR I just had to make a new DVB scan table as the one NextPVR had was wrong (I'm assuming it was downloaded by NextPVR). So at least I know the device works. Any suggestions for getting it to work on ubuntu though?

Sub already explained the Windows issue to you https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid586147 did you try the whole country.

Hauppauge on Linux is generally pretty good but the Quad has been problematic.The b-rad repo on github might offer some suggestions. A quick look found this issue https://github.com/b-rad-NDi/Ubuntu-medi...issues/120 with a tuning workaround. If that doesn't work you probably will find other suggestions for debugging, since as I posted this is not a NextPVR problem.

The windows issue? As I said in my previous message I was able to get the WinTv QuadHD working perfectly on windows. I just had to modify the DVB Scan Table that cam with NextPVR as It was completely wrong for my region....

In the linked post for Windows sub explained the Australian city files in NextPVR might not work so you need to use all channels. If that is failing too you need to report back to sub, possibly the master file needs to be looked at.
