I've had another recording on THREE with no audio stream recorded:

I don't understand why the header is still VLC maybe I don't understand sub's patch or you didn't import the correct m3u file.

It does appear to be an ffmpeg issue though since it is able to get the video. Does the stream work in their web site?

There is also a continuing error in NextPVR with video only files, the parameter in the code -map 0:a:0 needs a trailing ?

Yes - I can open https://i.mjh.nz/three.m3u8 in VLC and it plays both the video+audio tracks just fine.  It also just seems to be some scheduled recordings in NextPVR which don't record the audio stream.

How do I change the parameters in "code -map"? I thought this was buried in the compiled NShared.dll, which I can't edit.

A better test would be with ffplay since it is ffmpeg not NextPVR that is failing to find the audio. Maybe try this with a similar header that NextPVR is using.

Don't worry about adding the ? that is something sub needs to fix. It just would allow video without audio in the web browser.

There are 5 index streams with different video resolutions when I play with ffplay, all have an audio stream.

As I said, I'm only seeing this show up in some recordings.  Hopefully there will be more in the NextPVR logs the next time the audio fails.

It is ffmpeg creating the source file not NextPVR so not much NextPVR can do.

Normally in an MPEG-DASH file there are multiple m3u8 files, this seems to have multiple programs in one stream. Do you have a recording you can share on OneDrive or GoogleDrive?
