I'd start by disabling your jumpback addon, I have no idea if it support PVR or not.

I toggled the jumpback addon a few times, seems to have no effect on the seek problem, positive or negative. It functions normally within PVR (live timeshifted or recorded).

I will add that the behaviour I describe also happens (some success, some failure) with live TV once timeshifted - I assume because the underlying "playback" is really the same idea.

Recordings and live TV seeking is not the same. If you want to post a link to a sample that consistently has problems I can test it here.

Here's a recorded file I was having particular trouble seeking within:

This is the one that when I wrote it out to MKV using MKVtoolnix, just a straight copy, it changed the run-time from 1:03 to 1:58 and the audio became unsynced and messed up.

Note that many files have very little or even no trouble, and timeshifted live tv rarely has trouble (but not "never"). The sample file and others from that particular channel are among the worst, but it doesn't seem to be a bitrate thing - that's just a 720p channel.

That mpeg-ts layout of your sample is basically beyond repair. You need a better source. You never provided NextPVR logs but if you have choice make sure to use m3u8 instead of ts.
